Fan Already in Line for iPhone 5

Release dates are for suckers, true fans start waiting in line before a product is even officially announced. While many of you don't live by this creed, Rob Shoesmith sure does.

Shoesmith, a marketer for app developer MEDL Mobile, has already claimed the first space in line for the eventual release of the Apple iPhone 5 at the Covent Garden Apple Store in London. Crazy? Perhaps, but for Shoesmith there is more in it for him than simply being among the first to get Apple's next smartphone, it's a PR experiment – or what some of us would like to call, a "publicity stunt."
