Across the diverse and dynamic category of mHealth, MEDL has been a pioneer. Our mobile health technologies have provided many solutions; a tool used to improve physician/patient communications, a device used to demonstrate cutting edge medical technology and an app that delivers customized personal communications to patients enrolled in clinical trials.


We mobilized access to clinical trials on behalf of patients, physicians and pharmaceutical companies.

BBK Worldwide, a global leader in clinical trials patient management wanted to streamline patient access to information. We developed a mobile application that gives enrolled patients mobile access to their schedule of doctor visits, required documentation and other important information pertinent to their clinical trial.


The application uses BBK’s powerful back-end driven clinical trials management system and a series of custom developed APIs to deliver patient specific, trial specific and even time sensitive data to each individual user via their iOS or Android device.


We've turned entertainment icons into mobile icons.

We’ve held an app brainstorming session with Cheech and Chong. We’ve been in the dugout with Coco Crisp and the boxing gym with 50 Cent. We learned dirty sign language from Marlee Matlin, created a new alphabet for Sara Silverman and we’ve used a mobile app to let people throw a punch like Rampage Jackson. Yes, app development can be a lot of fun. 


We helped Xumo take the best content from across the web, and organize it into a stunning, seamless mobile interface.

Xumo had a grand vision - and an amazing array of content partners. The challenge for medl - to bring it all together into a simple to navigate UI/UX that allows people to access the very best digital content from across the web in an intuitive and easy-to-use mobile application.

Deceptively simple on the front end, the application is an elegant work horse that allows users to choose their favorite channels of content, navigate quickly between channels, search, add favorites and view content in an interface that makes it incredibly easy for users to get lost in a seemingly endless supply of video.

Game development is a science and a process all it's own. Our team has developed a wide variety of mobile and console games - from first person shooters to side scrolling runners to innovative gaming mechanics that cross the line between mobile and the real world. 


We turned a professional baseball player into a casual and addictive new game.

Coco Crisp was known by fans for his giant afro and his prowess in the outfield. We combined these two factors to create Coco’s Fro Patrol - a hysterical game that allows a user to run around the outfield and catch fly balls in an oversized head of hair.

The game was built for scale with a wide variety of game backdrops, uniforms, power-ups, and a number of features for monetization.

The stunning graphics and game play were made even more fun by a custom soundtrack and a collection of sound effects created by Coco himself.


We took advantage of our background in streaming video and used it to create a quiz game where you get to be the game show host.

Bbble is a casual, trivia style game where users quickly answer user generated video questions. Go head to head with your friends or a stranger to discover new content and prove your trivia prowess. Users also have the ability to create and share their own entirely unique video quizzes with the community.
